Spoleto

There was a close small town to our farm. Only about a two minute drive. San Giacomo had everything we would need. An ATM machine, a market, and a patisserie for cappuccino and brioche. It didn’t have wifi, though, and in reality we never made it there in two minutes because we always had to wait five or ten at the lowered train crossing guard. It was nice to have it so close, though. We stopped by one night in a storm and visited many early mornings for the brioche (preferably stuffed with chocolate).

This post is dedicated to fountain cats everywhere.
About ten miles south was Spoleto. We visited it many times during our two weeks in Umbria and after our great lunch with Ettore we went off to investigate. I made this movie that evening but then couldn’t post it. My pictures of Spoleto will be in two parts…here first is the movie…this is just our first couple of hours of poking around…
