Here they come…an update on Spring, from this neck of the woods…

The solitary daffodil has been joined by a horde…



The neighbor’s Pink Flowering Current (Ribes sanguineumv.glutinosum) is doing well over there but hasn’t started anything in our backyard…


However, the manzanita (Arctostaphylos manzanita “Dr. Hurd”) in our back yard is offering tiny, little flowers…

Happiest of all is the Gordon Gooseberry (Ribes menziesii var. hystrix)…I am so glad to see it I decided to brush off Photoshop Touch on my iPad to give it a whirl…this is my favorite because it looks like a little ballerina…it is only an inch in size…I say it is my favorite, but also the Dutchman’s Pipe is almost ready…when I see them both I know I have survived winter and Spring really will come again…
