Out of the apartment at 7:00 this morning for a trip by Metro to the train station and a forty-five minute trip by real train to Vernon. Then we hopped on a bus for four miles to get to the little town of Giverny. In May we did not do this day trip because it rained so hard on the day we planned to go. Same thing happened today but we went ahead anyway because we wouldn’t get another chance to see Monet’s garden. The rain felt wonderful because it cooled things off and may have kept down the number of tourists although it was almost impossible to get pictures without strange bodies in them. Here are a few Impressionistic pictures of the day I processed as we rode back on the train to Paris. I will post the rest after I process them, also.
