Had a little time after my volunteer shift at SFMOMA (on the theme of Jackson Pollock, no less) to see Maira Kalman’s, Various Illustrations (of a Crazy World) exhibit at the Contemporary Jewish Museum. Loved it! She is the New Yorker Magazine’s visual columnist and author of children’s books. I particularly remember a favorite at our house back in the day, Hey Willie,  See the Pyramids? I read that one over and over to some short people. I always loved the little sketches in the endpapers. It is a great exhibit until October 26 at this Museum:
