Foray into the garden after the big rain wondering what I could possibly find with my new macro lens for my iPhone…surprised to find there was a lot…even though there has not been much rain until now, these California native plants seem to stay on schedule…

native ferns
the pipe vine getting ready
a bunch of succulents that aren’t California natives
and the big bonus is the silk tassel plant who last year only had one bloom and zero the year before that. This year it looks like it will have thousands. Will keep you posted when they actually open…
